This printer is managed by department code.  You must have a department code issued by Alex Bannon in the Computer Science main office to print, copy, or scan.

1. If you log in to your PC with your Western username and password, please see Installing a Printer on Windows (UWO domain).
2. Once installed, you must configure the printer to use your assigned department code.

Download and install the Toshiba e-STUDIO macOS printer driver. Follow the instructions at Installing a Printer on macOS, noting the printer-specific steps below.

Step 1	Enter smb://sciprint2.uwo.ca/mc355 in the URL field
Step 2	Select TOSHIBA ColorMFP in the Printer Software dialog box.
Step 3	In the printer options dialog, select the following values:	Model Selection: TOSHIBA e-STUDIO5005ACSeries Finisher: Finisher (2 Trays + 1 Fixed Tray) Hole Punch Unit: None Drawers: Drawer 1, 2 & LCF External LCF: Not Installed

Once installed, you must configure the printer to use your assigned department code.

Download the Toshiba e-STUDIO Ubuntu printer driver. Open a terminal and install the driver:

cd ~/Downloads
sudo tar xvf TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_CUPS.tar -C /

Follow the instructions in Installing a Printer on Ubuntu, noting the printer-specific steps below.

Step 1	Enter sciprint2.uwo.ca/mc355 in the SMB Printer field.
Step 2	Select Toshiba for the manufacturer of the printer.
Step 3	Select ColorMFP from the Models list, and TOSHIBA ColorMFP from the Drivers list.
Step 4	On the Installable Options screen, select the following values:	Model Selection: TOSHIBA e-STUDIO5005ACSeries Finisher: Finisher (2 Trays + 1 Fixed Tray) Hole Punch Unit: None Drawers: Drawer 1, 2 & LCF External LCF: Not Installed

Once installed, you must configure the printer to use your assigned department code.
