Configuring a Department Code on Windows
Overview
If you have been issued a department code for a printer that requires one, you will need to configure the printer in Windows to use the department code before you can print. This document details the process of configuring a printer to use a department code on Windows.
Process
| - Select Start > Control Panel. On Windows 10, type control panel in the search bar to access the Control Panel. |  |
| 2. Select View by > Small icons. |  |
| 3. Select Devices and Printers. |  |
| 4. Right-click the printer to configure and select Printing preferences. |  |
| 5. Select the Others tab. |  |
| 6. Enter the department code you were assigned in the Department Code field. |  |
| 7. Click OK. |
