How to find your MAC Address for MacOS/Linux/Windows

Windows

To locate the MAC Address on Windows operating system, follow these steps:

  1. Press Windows key. Start typing cmd and select Command Prompt.
  2. Type ipconfig /all and press Enter. This will display your network configuration.
  3. Look for the MAC address listed as Physical Address.
  4. You can use ctrl+a to select all, ctrl+c to copy the information. You can also take a screenshot.
  5. Type exit and press enter to exit the command prompt.

MacOS/Linux

To locate the MAC Address on MacOS, follow these steps:

  1. Open a Terminal app.
  2. Type /sbin/ifconfig this will list your IP address as well your MAC address.
  3. You can use cmd+a to select all, cmd+c to copy the information. You can also take a screenshot.
